Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Workshops

Only 6% of DEI workshop programs are effective. We have an approach that ensures your program ranks among them.

Evidence-Based, Scientific Approach

94% of DEI workshops don't work. Our workshops follow an evidence-based approach proven to positively impact employees.

Rooted In Neurobiology

Our DEI workshops are rooted in the things we need to grow: experience with different perspectives, actionable skills you can use, and structured interaction after learning.

Practical Tools For Application

Instead of just telling you bias is bad, we provide practical tools that employees can use to limit cognitive bias in the workplace.

THE KEY TO EFFECTIVE DEI PROGRAMS

The Problem With Most DEI Workshops

A meta-analysis published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology sought to find out what types of DEI workshops made a difference. The researchers examined 490 studies involving more than 87,000 people. They found that not only do 94% of DEI workshops not change biased behavior, but in some cases the behavior got worse.

The Solution: An Actionable Approach

At Gravity Learning, we implement the techniques used by the 6% of programs that made a positive difference:

Practice seeing something from a different point of view

Concrete skills you can practice until they become your new way

The belief that we can change our biased and automatic behavior with practice

A structured way to engage with the content after the workshop

"In my experience, only a select few consultants ever become true partners. Gravity Learning, with their team of learning professionals, are one of those few companies. Their focus on supporting everything they teach with data and measuring results by assigning value to the learning is a game changer, and their unparalleled commitment to customizing the learning for their customers makes them special."

- Tim McElderry, Director of Commercial Leadership Development, BeiGene

Meaningful Workshops That Promote Change

Many of us have encountered DEI learning that seems more like a check-box formality rather than a meaningful experience that brings about actual change.

Our DEI modules are practical, interactive, engaging, and focused on achieving tangible results. They follow our methodology where participants not only learn new skills but also actively apply them both during and after their learning experience.
